Announced today is the new Baofeng RD-5R DMR Dual Band Handheld. Reportedly developed jointly with Radioddity, this new radio is a true Tier 2 dual band analogue and DMR handheld.
You get the usual VHF/UHF coverage along with an FM radio and LED flashlight.
Price is yet to be announced but should be very competitive.
Available 'Soon' according to Radioddity who say they kept the same form factor as the standard Baofeng UV-5R so that all the current accessories would be compatible with this new radio(Battery/Earphone/Mics etc).
